Delicious, flavour-filled food served with warmth. Dishes are simple but super-tasty, fresh and filling. We went to Yamanis twice during our trip to Crete and loved our experience. Iris is delightful and Yaron was an amazing waiter :) A wonderful kosher experience. Highly recommend going for dinner and watching the sunset.

The menu offered a great selection of Middle Eastern home-style dishes. We visited twice during our stay and were served hearty, delicious food. I highly recommend you try the homemade shakshuka and hummus. The restaurant overlooks vast fields and the beautiful Cretan Sea, the perfect way to wind down and relax. They also offer a takeaway menu option for breakfast at your hotel. Thank you, Yasamini and Ahmed, for your gracious service.

Good atmosphere, very fresh food : we had fish , schnitzel, houmous everything was fresh and tasty and served in a good atmosphere ! Iris the owner was very friendly as well . A bit pricey but it’s the only kosher place of the island so it explains it. I recommend !

We had a wonderful Shabbat dinner from Yaminas while vacationing in Crete. The food was delicious and they went above and beyond to accommodate us and get the food to us at our hotel. Definitely visit them!

We are two vegeterians who were looking for kosher food for Shabat and called Iris on Thursday. She cooked fish especially for us to take on Friday, which turned out to be one of the best oriental-style fish we ever had. The place is very welcoming.
